The Concessions Worker is responsible for preparing and serving concession items to guests, including beverages, ensuring prompt and friendly service. This role involves maintaining high standards of food presentation and quality while operating a cash register to process payments accurately. The ideal candidate must consistently adhere to the attendance policy and demonstrate excellent punctuality and reliability.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18 CAD, plus tips.

- Operate the Point of Sale system, accurately taking orders, assemble orders, and completing transactions in a timely manner.
- Learn & demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of concession operations.
- Monitor stock and supply levels, promptly notifying the Concessions Stand Manager of low inventory to ensure seamless operations.
- Listen and respond effectively to customer requests, inquiries, or concerns to provide excellent service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of dishes and equipment.
- Service of alcoholic beverages if over the age of 19 having completed the serving it right certification, responsibly, verifying guests’ IDs in accordance with provincial regulations to ensure compliance with minimum age requirements.
- Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 16 or over. 19 or over with Serving it Right to serve alcohol.
- Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to learn to handle cash and learn to operate a cash register and corresponding system
- Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
